- mp1e (available from sunsite) works quite well.
- bttvgrab (just do a web search)
- qtrec (http://www.ee.up.ac.za/~justin/v4l2) (v4l2 only)
- broadcast2000 + mpeg tools (http://heroine.linuxave.net/) capture +
