The designers of realproducer negleted to realise that outside
the US, people tend to use PAL or SECAM video, and made the
encoder hard-coded to set the video device to NTSC. Hence colours
and geometry are screwed.
The fix is to hack the bttv code to hard set the driver to PAL (or
SECAM). Look in bttv.c, somewhere around line 1760, and in
the 'case VIDIOCSCHAN', set v.norm to VIDEO_MODE_PAL (or SECAM).
