Hi,

I am having troubles getting a Miro pro to work on my redhat 6.2 (SMP) box.

After reading the docs and some configuration experiments i have a
situation were i do not see any errors anymore (detailed information below) but
still my card does not work.

When i start xawtv a get a nice window with just blue contents. On a few
channels i see horizontal bands of moving snow (noise), non-moving snow and/or
blue. This happens mainly on the S and SE channels.

I did testing with the stock RedHat kernel, a 2.2.16 kernel patched with recent
i2c drivers and separately built bttv 0.7.4 modules and finally a 2.4.-test1
kernel. All with more or less the same result.

Am i overlooking something?

--------------------------------

Detailed config:

RedHat 6.2 with 2.4-test1 SMP-kernel
Asus P2L97DS mobo
Matrox G400 (dual head)
xawtv-3.14-1
Gnome with gdm replaced by xdm
