[V4L] Command Line Utils

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a command line utility that
would dump bttv/video4linux input into a jpg file.  I also require the
ability to pass the input source, style and maybe size so that I can exec it
from a perl script.  If anyone could give me a lead, I would really
appreciate it.
