Hello
I have been using a WinTV Theater Card in my old 133 Pentium
running Slackware for a long time with little problem.
I just moved the card to my new computer. It has a
3dfx video card and it's running SuSe 7.0. I've poured over the
documentation. I can't seem to get the card to function
properly.
When I load xawtv it gets this error message:
This is xawtv-3.17, running on Linux/i686 (2.2.16)
visual: id=0x22 class=4 (TrueColor), depth=24
x11: 1280x1024, 32 bit/pixel, 5120 byte/scanline, DGA
/dev/video: ioctl VIDIOCSFBUF: Operation not permitted
waitpid: No child processes
v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway

It's not taking any input from the keyboard. - it just crashes
at this point. My module.conf file looks like this:
alias char-major-14 off
alias sound off
alias midi off
alias net-pf-4 off
alias net-pf-5 off
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 bttv

options bttv card=10 radio=1 pll=1 autoload=1
options tuner type=5
options msp3400 dolby=1 debug=0
options dpl3518 debug=0
pre-install msp3400 /sbin/modprobe dpl3518
post-remove msp3400 /sbin/modprobe "-r" "dpl3518"
post-remove bttv (/sbin/modprobe -r "msp3400"; /sbin/modprobe -r "tuner")
I'd really apreciate some help to get this running correctly.
Thanks
Ruben
