I must have made some change recently that's now causing my WinTV
card to run in black & white. I've confirmed that it's not the hardware
since I'm getting color under Windows... This is what I have in my
modules.conf file:
# WinTV Theater, bttv-0.7.28
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 bttv
alias char-major-89 i2c-dev
#options i2c-core i2c_debug=1
options bttv card=10 radio=1 pll=1 autoload=1
options tuner type=2
This is a new Hauppauge card... Audio is working, as well as composite
and the TV tuner, but only in B&W.. As far as I can tell, this should be
accurate. I'm probably missing something quite simple, and any ideas would
be appreciated. Thanks :-)
