Hi all,
I'm having a small problem getting bttv2 running, specifically I'm
having trouble with videdevX. It compiles perfectly, make install runs
without a hitch. When however I do a modprobe bttv2, which in turn
pulls in videodevX, the insmod of videodevX fails...

I wasn't using devfs first, then I looked at the C source and saw that
there was an ifdef on devfs just there, so Have since setup devfs (was
going to anyway) and the problem persists. This is happening after a
freshboot with the original bttv driver never having been insmod'd, and
after rmmod'ing bttv so that doesn't seem to have anything to do with
it.
I'm sure it is something simple, can anybody shed any light on it ?
