Thank you Gerd: bttv-0.7.54 finally works for radio support with the above mentioned card. It's still mono, but so far I'm happy with it. I've whipped together a couple of pages describing how to set up the driver, the remote and the radio. They're not finished yet, but comments are appreciated. Will update these pages after my exams.
