Ok, I downloaded (via apt) the latest xawtv package as explained on the
webpage. I installed it and the error has changed to another which
I have seen before:
leko:~>xawtv
xawtv: error while loading shared libraries:
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXaw.so.7: undefined symbol: XmuCvtGravityToString
