Pretty sure he's talking about xawtv, but swiping at Gerd and
insinuating that he's been detrimental to V4L is um... pretty misguided.

I doubt you're the only one. :)
But come on, if you know Java, surely you know enough C to implement a
"save selected options as default" button and be done with it. That'd
be a bit more productive, wouldn't it?
(But I do agree that it would be a nice/needed feature...)
