Hi,

the noise, that is good news.
Stay on 0.2.8 where you get noise. V4l-info should give a good hint,
what is going on with the card. Here are buglets around and a huge
amount of new code (not for the saa7134). Can't even use 2.6.0-test3
with kraxelpatch. Oops on unloading the modules and no device
/dev/video0. On the saa7134-20030820 snapshot on that kernel I have the
same as Bill on 2.4.22 and a warning on inputmask. (That input looks
fine.)
