Thanks for response - I just thouth, that nobody tell me anything.
Then last questions.
1) If I install lirc from cvs I do not need lirc modules - only lirc daemon and stuff?
2) Is there any way to check is that driver (ir-common) working without lirc stuff?
Well, I got it working ok - but it uses the /dev/input/eventX driver in lircd. You'll need the CVS version of lirc and make sure you configure in the /dev/input/event stuff. For me, it generates events on /dev/input/event0 and I set up my lircd.conf to detect the unique numbers that pop out of the lircd socket.
It's working 100% :)

I would lke to find some faq about new Gerd module. Do I understand it right - there is no way to integrate ir-common with lirc daemon?
