I published a sort of manifesto the other day which I think you guys might like:

"If you're not familiar with the term, vidcasting is the art of
including a video file within an RSS feed as an external enclosure.
Essentially it's podcasting but instead of music we include video. The
video would then be downloaded and available to play on your computer
or mobile device."

It starts off as more of an entry level explanation but I think my
points about main stream media benefiting from
videocasting/videoblogging are valid.
