There is a video showing these settings (or pretty close) over at 
Freevlog.  http://freevlog.org/#compress  You want to watch the video 
for iMovie.  I know you're not using iMovie but once you get to the 
Quicktime dialog it's all the same.  If you still have trouble with 
it, give me a call and I'll see what we can figure out.  My number is 
210-387-4207.  Or, if you're on a laptop, bring it to the NY meetup 
on Sunday and I'll take a look.
