A word on pasting from Word - pon't do it! Word uses some ugly, ugly tags that will f.. up just about anything else - for instance if you paste Word text into dreamweaver you risk having a TON of garbage code inserted.
If you need to use word, paste it into a text editor first (I like Edit Plus, which is shareware, so you can download it free for the PC), then paste the copy from the text editor into your other program. A pain, I know, but it will save you a ton of grief.
