On second thought, it looks like perhaps I don't have to monkey 
around with Movie Maker after all.  Looking at a few other video blogs, 
they seem to be getting around the same file sizes as I am for 
comparable material.  So I think that I'm just going to release this 
stuff as is.  It's not like it's a big deal or anything - I just wanted 
to get the procedure down so that I don't have to think about it from 
week to week.

    I think that I'll just stick to my creaky old system of encoding 
WMV's until the new editing machine comes.  Perhaps I'll spend some more 
time goofing around with Quicktime & MP4's.  The WMV turned out looking 
a bit better than the Quicktime video, and that just doesn't feel right 
somehow.  :)
