A typical mov version of rocketboom that I looked at recently, ended up at a total bitrate of 589.66kbits/sec
The show was 4 minutes and 7 seconds long, and weighed in at 17.44MB. Thats the sort of result you can expect if you use Andrews settings with 320x240 footage. For typical bitrates used by 3ivx at other resolutions, see one of my previous emails. I maybe havent done the proper maths but I think 600kbits/sec works out at 4.5MB a minute. Whether your files turn out that size in practise depends if you use an encoding method where it will encode at exactly the bitrate you ask it to, as per my explanation the other day, and dont forget to take audio into account.
