I say if you see it record it and post it Randolphe (and that's not just because I'm a bit of a kink myself)

Granted, the appropriate warning's should be displayed right in the clip at the beginning.

Adam,

By habit, I am responding from my PC.  My new Mac monster with much more power sits behind me.  One of the ceilings I hit on my old PC is that "delicious" (forgive the lack of dots) required 500 something and this old PC only had 435.

I am a "content" person rather than one of the many belly-button-watchers.  In fact, I am very stressed as to how I should present myself in my first vlog. I am a bizarre person with an even more bizarre public and personal life.  In various previous incarnations, I have been somewhat famous. I intend to continue my established tradition of being infamous and famous as a vlogger.

I've found that among documentary makers, many believe that they should be 'invisible'.  I don't subscribe to that philosophy.  I think the videographer should always be part of the story.

When it comes to "content", I'd like to post material that is really foreign to me. I went to an S&M Street Fair.  I did great interviews there with a lady who specialized in selling hooks which heterosexual couples could use to hang each other from their bedroom doors so "the kids wouldn't know".  At one point, this other vendor tied a "ball-gag" into my mouth and "accused" me of being "kinky".

I have some fabulous stuff.  It is so fabulous, I'm almost afraid to share it.  I have a fantastic scene of a "public mummification".  I'm not sure how or when someone should put up the "adult material" warning.

I won't bore you with details of interviews with porn stars, etc.  However, "content" is what my vlog will be all about. Would I be making a mistake to sign on to that "common creative license" stuff?

Forgive me for being an iconoclast on this list.  But, I feel, as a retired 67-year-old male, I should be able to go out in the world and create a documentary the likes of which the general public has never seen.

Thanks to Schlomo for posting some links to interesting content today.
I'm all for it.
I love it when discussion on this list turns to content.

Here is another way we can share our choices of content that has been mentioned here several times, but many new people may not be aware of.

Clint wrote out some great instructions for it over on Videoblogging.info <URL: http://www.videoblogging.info/archives/annotated-bookmarks/ >

Basically, you put this little button in your web browser that says "Post to Delicious"
Then whenever you find a cool video, you just click that button and fill in some fields.
You tag the page with "watchthis" and other relevant keywords.
Then everyone who is subscribed to the "watchthis" tag gets to see what you picked.

The feed is at <URL: http://del.icio.us/rss/watchthis >

Also, if you find one particular person seems to be tagging a lot of stuff that you think is cool, you can subscribe to that person's feed as well.

e.g., my feed is at <URL: http://del.icio.us/rss/bullemhead >
and one of the feeds I subscribe to is <URL: http://del.icio.us/rss/mmeiser >
