You got the flash 8 player? I was hoping it would tell you if you didnt have the latest version, which I assume is required to see content created with the new codec.
Maybe there is HTML id need to include in the page to provide such an auto-update of the flash browser plugin/player, maybe something is broken, but anyway not having the latest flash player is by far the most likely cause of your problem. Is anybody going to comment on the quality of this new flash stuff? To me it looks a tad inferior to h264 or well-encoded (eg 3ivx) mpeg4 content at the same res/bitrate. But its not bad, for scenarios where flash delivery is desirable, it looks like some progress has been made. Will be interesting to see if Macromedia push this stuff any harder now, they seem to have rebranded the 'flash communication server' as 'flash media server' I believe.
