Well,
I can tell you right now that I have not seen ANY videoblogging in Korea from
the Korean community. Even though South Korea is the most connected high
speed internet nation in the world, everyone seems to have a little Cyworld
page, which is like Blogger but cuter with lots of pictures and music. But
I haven't seen any video outside of the foreign English teacher/military
community. My Korean friends are more interested in communicating and
sharing photos rather than working on video.
And
that's another point. It's harder and more expensive to find quality video
editing products in Asian languages. So mabye there isn't really that much
videoblogging in Japan, Korea, and China.

There are communities on the net that we are almost entirely isolated
from due to language barriers. I bet theres a lot more going on with
video in Japan than I can hope to know about, because I only speak
English.
