I have made a small converter that creates videos playable by the latest ipod. It also creates a thumbnail you can use for your videoblog.
It's only for Macintosh OSX 10.3 +

Usage:
PLEASE NOTE: You will need Quicktime 7.0.3+ to use it. Encoding is really really slow on old computers (It can go below 6 FPM, yes 6 Frame Per Minute on a G3 500 ibook)
Drag and Drop your video file... and wait until the screen is black.
Converted files will be recorded at the root of the Patchouli Pod Folder.
name of the video converted : patchoulipod_movie.mp4
name of the jpg file : patchoulipod_image.jpg

it gives the file formats that will work on the iPod.
