I've spent a weekend there, but it didn't seem that bad. :o)
Of course I wouldn't walk barefoot in *any* cities with more than 8
million citizens!

Nope, if you want easy in and out points go with mefeedia's quoting tool.
What I do is:

  - Download the movie I want to quote.
  - Trim the movie in Quicktime Pro and save (no re-encoding since the
video is already compressed, yay!)
  - Upload the video quote raw file
  - Fire up linkubator and have it work its magic

With mefeedia's quoting tool doesn't require you to host your own versin
of the quoted file - it hits the original file every time. For my use I
prefer hosting a copy of the quote myself. The response is faster,
especially if the quote is not from the beginning of the video. Either way
it's great to have options. Mine's just a rip-off of the mefeedia idea
anyway. :o)

And, yes, linkubator can create clickable "bugs" and all that jazz. With
the usual consequences of using SMIL (like FireANT won't be able to
pre-fetch the video, the video iPod will probably croak) - those I don't
worry about. :o)
