I really don't understand the details of the tech
talk about delicious. However, I stumbled over a vlog this morning which
is either a very clever commercial or a very clever pun.
Even though I'm not a technical person, I saved the
link because it thought my technie friends would "get a kick out of it" or tell
me "I had been had" and it was a clever ploy by commercial
interests:
Watch it and tell me. I should have remembered the
name. It think it was "'Web 2.0 is Taking Over the World" or something
like that. The repeated spelling of delicious with the dots in just the
right places made me suspicious..and made me laugh.

del.icio.us tags with posts
Can you explain to me the purpose for using Delicious to
tag your own stuff? Is it because you are trying to make it findable for
others? Wouldn't that be better accomplished using an open tagging spec
like Tachnorati's. That way your tags are more likely to be picked up
and spread aroun the web rather than confined in
Delicious.
