this also means the service will always be free and strictly for public domain/creative commons open media.

downside is... i am a one-guy team and it has been difficult to find time to make necessary improvements.  regardless, it is easy enough to upload media and serve it, and just use the backend admin for management.  useful as a mirror server to blip and ourmedia.
