As Steve said, you can certainly write your RSS by hand or use some
application to do so, but if you do, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure it
is valid:

   http://feedvalidator.org/

If it's not valid, do not be surprised to see failure in some
aggregators getting your content.
