As Enric says the point of CC licenses is that you don't have to ask. If  
you don't change the video any CC license will do. It is customary to link  
to the original blog post (I personally prefer a link to a blog post only  
and no link to the direct video) - and most bloggers use one of the  
"by"-licenses where attribution is required.
