[videoblogging] Video Camera for the Undercover Civic Journalist

Some members of the video blogging community have identified themselves as "civic journalist".  I wonder if a camera like this will open up new opportunities for "undercover" work.

I also wonder about the legal and physical risk involved, particularly when you are not backed by a large organization that can give legal support.

Some "mainstream" organizations have been trying to encourage people to be civic journalists.  I noted some of that type of encouragement at the participate.net web site.  These folks are trying to use movies to stir social discussion and action.
