Thanks Michael. I see you are right. I got them confused with another movie I was playing with. I am thinking that 540 x 360 might be a max to still work with the iPod. But I'm not convinced the bit rate needs to be that high. I think you can go 256 + audio and still look good under H.264. None of their video looks distorted. I am wondering if they are mastering in HDV with a Sony or Canon HDV camera. How can we tell?
The thing I like about this aspect ratio is that it fills up a 1920 x 1200 screen better IMHO. BTW State of the Union is being transmitted in HDTV right now on CBS and NBC. Anyone else out there know if it is on Fox and ABC as well? -- Taylor Barcroft http://www.blogger.com/profile/11159903 New Media Publisher, Editor, Video Journalist, Podcaster, Futurecaster Santa Cruz CA, Beach of the Silicon Valley URL http://FutureMedia.org RSS http://feeds.feedburner.com/FutureMedia iTunes http://tinyurl.com/8ql87 On Jan 31, 2006, at 6:09 PM, Michael Verdi wrote: > On 1/31/06, Kunga <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:It's 540 x 360 > custom H.264 I just figured out.
