Sorry I tried to explain that earlier but I see now that the email wasn't that clear.  If you know how to create a 302 redirect in your htaccess file, you do a 301 almost the same way. 

if you r current feed is http://www.mydomain.com/feed.xml and you want to now use http://newfeed.com/url you'd write the rule like this: (adding the line below to your htacess file)


RewriteRule ^ feed.xml/?$ http://newfeed.com/url [R=301,L]


Notice the red part [R=301,L] ... thats what makes it a 301 instead of a 302.
