In response to Christian's post I ask: Can't the videoblogger repost
a video to the RSS feed? I'm a little ignorant of the way all this
works -- just started and a partner is doing the technical matters --
but can't the video "producer" just decide to rebroadcast and point
the RSS feed at an old piece of content, thus re-syndicating it? It
would be my decision as the producer to re-syndicate. I might risk
boring my feed users so they cut off my feed if I repeat too many
times, but I think it is, technically, an option.

Ryan and Christian are correct, I think, that the forms of radio and
TV will be copied to some extent because of familiarity, because they
work, because they give us a model to use, etc. In fact, I'm using
just such a format which is something like the Rocketboom format,
which is something like announced TV. And I think it's a great thing
that we can use the old forms for our new purposes. I also think
it's a great thing that the videobloggin medium does not necessarily
have to copy those old forms. A lot of the videoblogs I've seen look
like art to me more than TV. I'm thinking of one, I think Steve
Garfield shot it. Someone put a giant piece of chalk on the street
in Boston and someone (I think Steve Garfield) shot the results of
people interacting with the chalk. It was fun, different, and
definately not TV material. I would call it art. And I'm happy
videoblogging permits and makes available this type of expression. I
can't say I know as much about podcasts because I've never really
subscribed, I jumped to videoblogging.

Anyway, I go on and on ...
