[ where is your Vlog, I'd like to take a look at your _javascript_ ]

Yes, I also use _javascript_ to write the object+embed+href code into a
div when the image for the video is clicked.  This is how my videos
appear on my vlog sites off http://www.cirne.com.  I'm going to make
that code into a Wordpress plugin.

[ I played with your _javascript_ code..it wouldn't work for me.  Your code has a playVlog() function, is that a predefined function in Wordpress? ]

I played with:

I just found some _javascript_ code that implements "click-to-play embedded video"  (don't even remember where I got it today!?).  I've implemented it on my video-blog:

..for entries 2 thru 6 (note that entry 2 is an audio-clip).  Entry #1 has embedded-video that plays when you enter the website.  The later entries implement a pop-up window for the video-clips.

I need some feedback on the "click-to-play embedded video", the fact that there are several in a row.  (I actually had a few of them running simultaneously on Safari & Firefox.  Internet Explorer runs kinda rough on my PC laptop, I'd like some feedback on how IE handles it).  Also, compare it to the pop-up windows for the later entries.  Which is more effective?

This might be of interest to Stephanie Bryant.  If it works, she might opt to get away from her "single vlog entry" per page.  Also, Rocketboom might want to think about changing their single-entry per page (they use arrows to cycle thru their daily archives).

NOTE:
Here is the _javascript_ code I'm using:

<script type="text/_javascript_">function f1139065600815(obj) {obj.parentNode.innerHTML = '<embed src=""http://blip.tv/file/get/Jumplive-AndyMcMillinTT83BITD06Parker425Race221.m4v">http://blip.tv/file/get/Jumplive-AndyMcMillinTT83BITD06Parker425Race221.m4v" width="320" height="196" autoplay="true" controller="true" type="video/quicktime" scale="tofit" pluginspage="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/"> </embed>';}</script><div><img src=""http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/6909/1319/320/amcmillin1.jpg">http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/6909/1319/320/amcmillin1.jpg" height="180" width="320" alt="" style="cursor:pointer;" ></div>

That function f1139065600815 has to be *changed* for each vlog entry.  Can anyone explain to me what it's doing?  Can the above be made simpler, without the crazy looking f11349..etc
