Clearly what is needed is the development of the shopping gene.

You need to find a vendor willing/able to sell what you want at the
price you can afford. There is always a way to get what you want
(legally).

You choices besides shaving something:

Get more cash:
If you are resistant/unable to get a job then I point you to the
wonderful world of acquiring and re-distribution of aluminum and
glass products.

California recycle rate is $0.04 under 24oz and $0.08 for anything
over. Couple of parties, college campus trash cans and a dumpster
dive or two and you will be rolling in the syrup or dough. Wear
gloves and bring trash bags.

Now this is not for everybody. But it beats lusting after a camcorder
and it will take the heat off of mom and dad. Plus I hate to think of
a man shaving something that took him so long to grow.

So you have x-amount of cash. You want a camcorder.

If you are just getting started then get an inexpensive camcorder.
Plenty of legitmate places for the frugal artist. For example:

Overstock.com http://tinyurl.com/l92n9
http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=DEO-3210&cat=CAM
http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/SubCategory.asp?SubCategory=205

This is not impossible.
Might take honest labor.
Actual work.
Plus you reduce the freaky folks that would be selling your clips
to , um, how shall I put this, "bone daddies in heat" Now if you flow
that way it might not be a problem but if not, well...

I put this before you and leave it to you.

Vlog safe,

Gena
