You want to check out http://www.eff.org/bloggers they have a boatload
of info that relate to legal issues in blogging/vlogging.

Photographers face many of the same issues as you are about to
confront so check out http://www.krages.com/phoright.htm or
www.krages.com/ThePhotographersRight.pdf

Another source to check is http://committeetoprotectbloggers.civiblog.org/

As an added freebie, Reporter sans frontiers has a free juicy pdf book
for bloggers/vlogger who need to stay way down low and how to do it.
http://www.rsf.org/rubrique.php3?id_rubrique=542 EFF has a page on it
too http://www.eff.org/Privacy/Anonymity/blog-anonymously.php

Common sense goes a long way - be respectful.
Check to see if it is a public event, if so let it roll.
Get permission from those that you want to interview, I have started
asking permission before I roll and then again as I begin to
interview. But paper is better.

Hope this helps,
Gena
