You can get the answer to your questions (and more) by opening the Movie
Info window in the Quicktime Player. Open an episode of rockboom in a
standalone player and hit Ctrl+I (on Windows). Otherwise go to the Window
menu and choose Show Movie Info.

So your answers are:

> What is rocket boom's new screen size?

480 by 270 pixels.

> Are they exporting to Quick Time Mov or MPEG 4?

Both. It is an MPEG-4 video in a Quicktime MOV wrapper. No 3ivx.

> What codec are they using for audio and video?

MPEG-4 for video. AAC (in stereo for some reason) for audio. Datarate is
800 kbits/sec.

> What compression software are they using?

Only Andrew and Amanda can answer that, but MPEG-4 compression can be
handled by almost anything. Quicktime Pro is the usual suspect. At $30
it's the cheapest swiss army video knife you'll find. :o)
