Hi Paul, I wanted to respond to a specific section in your post: >You see I thought it was okay to > involved in Videoblogging so long as you had a camcorder, a computer > with editing software and a broadband connection, a little bit of > talent and a self inflated ego to be able to post my face on line. > Who said you couldn't do just that? Let me know and I'll find a step ladder so I can look the blighter in the eye to get the straight skivvy!
This is a personal medium. The person decides what he or she wants to record and display. Having said that there are all kind of vloggers. Some see $$$$. Some see a stepping stone to fame, forture and cheap cigars. Some know this is what they are born to do and were just waiting for the technology to be put in place for them to do it. Some want to create an alternative viewing experience. Some want to record the new baby and share it with love ones. I'm out there running the streets recording slices of time and memory when I can gather enough of my own. (And when my computer doesn't catch fire - looong story). I've been trying to keep up with the post that I missied but are you sensing that other folks are ragging on you for your content? Or that the group is shifting into a more media/commercial/for profit zone? Or do you have the itch to start up a UK version of Node 101? Hmmm, this is producing more questions than answers.
