I was just going to mention that Verdi, Juan Carlos and many others who normally post to the group are in Austin at SXSW learning, sharing, educating and in Juan Carlos' case partying. But I can see you've already heard that from Gena et al on the list.
Verdi will be on a panel Tuesday, March 14th so I'm sure when SXSW is through you'll hear from more of the vlogging community. My guess is you've already looked through the node101 and freevlog sites and are looking for more answers. I think until SXSW is over, you'll have to wait for the balance of the information you're requesting.
I am a podcaster and not a vlogger (yet) but do find that by holding our monthly Podcasting Meetups with the NODE101 group we all benefit. The information exchange is extremely helpful and viewing everyone's latest projects is fun and inspiring. Like I've said before, "If only there was a way to download Verdi's brain..."
On a personal note, what I have discovered at NODE101 is a group sharing their passion for vlogging while teaching folks how they can do it, too. It's a very relaxed, informal and loose group. In my brief time visiting at NODE101, I've seen folks walking in to "find what this vlogging thing is all about" walk out with a good sense of how they can use vlogging in their own life. After an explanation about vlogging and watching a few vloggs they get it. It's almost like you turned a light bulb off in their head. Then when they hear that NODE101 will help teach them to start their own vlog, it's like they walked into a candy store.
I can't speak for anyone else but I think it's a pretty great project and the fact that folks are willing to do it deserves a pat on the back.
Regards,
Jennifer Navarrete
