Waitaminute: seriously? I mean, they didn't want you to use the words "phaser" or "Spock"? I didn't know you could copyright a sound. Just a sound by itself? Just because it's recognizable? They didn't want you to use "Phaser" or "Spock" in conjunction with the sounds, or they didn't want you to use them at all? Because I'll hop on my miniDV right now and film a short video called "Phaser-Spock-Phaser-Spock-Phaser-Phaser-Spock-Spock".
