1) What does it mean to "allow pings" in wordpress
2) In making posts and stuff I occasionally get an email that says something about pings regarding a post or category and I don't know what that means
... in case you hadn't guessed, I'm changing to wordpress ...
... any help on pings 101 would be appreciated ... thanks .. Richard
