Hi Folks... I haven't spoken up in here much in the past week or so, and it's for a reason.
I don't know if I'm going to be able to go to Vloggercon. I had already put in for vacation, etc. about a month ago (the day the dates came out for it), but this thing came up... those of you familiar with computer servers know what a DR test is... and I am absolutely expected to be there. But here's the thing: it starts on June 8th (Thursday) at 8am, and runs for 48 hours. So I looked at flights, and there are flights from that site to San Francisco at 7am (which means I'd have to leave the DR two hours early...) So I just ran the whole suggestion by my boss, telling him if I could get that 7am direct flight, that I would be a bit late, but I could still go to Vloggercon... and they'd have me at the DR (I'd be leaving two hours early, but things should be over by then anyways)... so now it's in his hands. If you believe in the power of prayer (I know I do), please say a little prayer that this works out for me. I know I'll miss the Friday night partying and such, but maybe you could all do a "I wish Kitty was here!" post on your vlogs for me Friday night. I'm really, really hoping I can swing this.
