You're not the only one that's had problems with Technrati. I've had the same thing happen to me too. Also, I've had stuff that used to be there disappear.
Basically, I think the problem is that their either have some bugs in their system. Or they are having "data loss" occur.
In their defence though, they have to deal with ALOT of data. And from what I understand, alot more than the other blog search engines. But yeah, I know just how frustrating it can be.
The only thing I can really suggest is to try another blog search engine. Like IceRocket.com. (Although, just to say it explicitly, when you "ping", you should "ping" all of them. And not just one of them.)
