For what it's worth, my first post took 10 hours to show up. I used pingomatic.com in the middle of the day yesterday--that may or may not have helped. My second post showed up within 2 hours. I used pingomatic on that one as well.

I noticed, by the way, that Technorati lists more than 800,000 blogs that are more popular than my own. Given that, I can hardly blame them for optimizing their crawls, and dealing with my blog on the slow track.

One other interesting point: "videobloggingweek2006" is now listed as the number one "hot tag" on technorati's home page.
