[videoblogging] Difference between c and cc ?

Enric said you should consider a "cc" instead of just a single copyright c.  Is there a legal difference? I couldn't figure out how to create a copyright symbol.  There isn't a key or anything on the keyboard.  I copied it out of the earlier posting and added text.   Isn't this the way it is supposed to read?  © Randolfe H.
