Does the Archos AV500 (or Archos Gmini 402) have an email app? (so, I can do a picture email transmission)
Or, does the way it gets video to the PC, is with the USB interface?
What OS does it use? I suppose, one could write an email app for it & do a picture email over WiFi (using a BT -> WiFi adapter).

I noticed it doesn't have Wireless connectivity, like the PSP (WiFi).
Is there a USB accessory that can give it WiFi capability? (like those Linksys dongles, that plug into USB ports? I got one for my TIVO).
I think I'm gonna get a Gmini 402, & play with it.

I saw the Gemini at Fry's, & it looks interesting. That AV500 looks really sexy, although bigger than the more compact Gemini.
Is anyone using the HP iPaq 3715? It has a builtin camera (which can do video)..that can *record* pics/video.

Michael Sullivan or anyone who knows, What do you find to be the best way to translate your video downloads to the format which the Archos players can play? I've got an Archos Gmini 402 camcorder/player, and though it includes VirtualDub software, the software isn't able to translate .mov files. So I've been opening my .mov downloads in QuickTime Pro, converting to .avi, and then using VirtualDub to convert to the type of .avi file the Gmini wants. This isn't terribly difficult, but I'm thinking there must be an easier way -- a one-step process, rather than this two-step method. Anyone know? Thank you, Harold
