I was going through tapes of my families old filmstrips transfered to VHS tonight. I found that my father had filmed his crossing the Mackinac Bridge back in the 70's.

I never knew my father, he was sick and couldnt really even talk when I was young. He died about 10 years ago... So when I found this footage and realized that I had filmed the almost exact thing with no knowledge of his video, my heart skipped. Some sort of connection was made with video/film. It may seem silly, but I hold dear to any fragment of my father, this is a fragment that really hit me...
