Hello friends, My Mom is now on YouTube! Ronni Bennett just wrote a nice piece on her blog about how you can blog at any age and blogging can bring people together:
"Even though increasing numbers of elders are blogging, the press and the culture at large still believe it is a youth activity. That creates a divide between generations that too often comes up in the media as: “Oh, dear, blogging is dangerous and when it’s not, it’s just those young folks being young. But aren’t those old folks cute trying to keep up with the kids.” Those of us who are out here doing it every day know better, and in the past few days, an event has occurred that brings two widely separated ages together appreciating each other. Follow along now and I promise you’ll have a great laugh even if you have seen all or part of this before" So I made my mom a YouTube account and posted the video she was referring to so that Ronni can embed it on her blog post: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mq6MotflNck Enjoy! --Steve -- Steve Garfield http://SteveGarfield.com Learn Podcasting FREE at PodCamp Boston, Sept 9/10 http://www.PodCamp.org Watch Vlog Soup: A video tour of the vlogosphere http://stevegarfield.blogs.com/vlogsoup/ -- Steve Garfield http://SteveGarfield.com Learn Podcasting FREE at PodCamp Boston, Sept 9/10 http://www.PodCamp.org Watch Vlog Soup: A video tour of the vlogosphere http://stevegarfield.blogs.com/vlogsoup/ Yahoo!
