Last night in Los Angeles, we were proud to announce Lucas Krost as the
winner of the Seeds of
Tolerance<http://recp.rm05.net/ctt?kn=3&m=399669&r=ODEzNDk5MzUzS0&b=0&j=NzQzNzA4MzQS1&mt=1>competition<http://www.current.tv/tolerance>,
for his entry "One Nation Under Guard" about the injustice in the US prison
system and the hostility ex-prisoners feel when they re-enter society.
Current TV Chairman (and former Vice President) Al Gore was on hand to do
the honors.

Lucas won $100,000, a Sony HD Handycam, as well as $15,000 for the charity
of his choice. Competition finalists Dave Halliday ("Ghost Tribes") and Joe
Wilson ("We Belong") each received $10,000.
