Further to Caleb's question, does anyone know what the detailed specs of the different iMovie Project settings are? I can't find them listed anywhere.
Particularly what the difference between MPEG4 and iSight is - I don't understand why my Canon AVIs should look so much better and are so much quicker when imported into an iSight project than into an MPEG4 project - both presumably 640x480 res. Also, is there an editing program anywhere on PC or Mac where you can actually specify 100% of the project/sequence settings to match your clip EXACTLY, rather than have to import/render whenever using a stills camera's weird video settings instead of tape?
