I have the C5 and I can say this about it. The quality, even at 640 X 480,
30fps is less than that of a single chip DV camera. It does pick up
auto-focus motor and zoom motor noise. And it's fairly useless after sundown
unless your house (or whatever) is well lit.

That being said, I really love this camera for one basic reason - it's small
enough to put in my pocket and take with me everywhere. I record all kinds
of stuff that I wouldn't get otherwise. Here's my favorite video that I shot
only because I had this camera in my pocket.
