Hey folks. I've spent countless hours searching for answers, but not getting anywhere. I just received my Xacti C40 (Same as the C4, basic same specs as the C5 with different body design) and have some questions.
I want to add a wide angle lens, but the Xacti C40 doesn't have a threaded lens. This guy MacGivered a wide angle lens http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJkNTa0HQxU to his C6. There is this magnetic lens attachment at http://www.gadgetinfinity.com/product.php?productid=16551 , but it's too small. Anyhow, any other ideas? I'm sure there must be some sort of adapter that could be used. I've also seen sites with the underwater housing for the C1/C4 series Xacti camcorders. Anyone seen a great deal on one? If I can find one cheap enough, we'll use it for our summer pool vlogs. The MP4 files works great with my Ulead Videostudio, but I'd like to see sample thumbnails in Windows Explorer. Any ideas?
