Actually I was at quite a few shows last year including Dragon Con, and I made a few videos. I put them on my "other" site fanboyforum.blogspot.com, because well it's a long story....(short version my buddy had always wanted to create a website about Pop Culture and I always said I would help so once it was up and running we were going to do a "show" but then life happened and well....like I said long story)
Anyway, I don't belive for a minute that "Hollywood" has a lock on creativity, this list is full of people who have proved that, however.....I used to dream as a kid of being an actor, making movies...it was my escape from a very bad childhood. Regardless what happens with the "On the Lot" thing it will not change the fact that I like to tell stories and therin lies my strugge. What is my site, my creative outlet or my life? It's both, some of my videos are creative and slices of life and bits and some are just me sharing or talking about my life. That is why I don't think my "vlog" will ever be anything because I wanna do what I wanna do, you know? Maybe if I did just focus on the "entertainment" side maybe I could broaden my audience but then, (to me) it would not be a vlog....this thing we call personal media has changed me changed what I thought was possible.... The problem is that I have too many passions, I love to teach, to grow, to learn new things, I value knowledge and understanding, I value communication, (true communication) I wanna believe that we can learn from our past not in some "hippie all is good" way but in a truely human way..... I only have question right now and no answers but I know that this "thing" is a powerful force and I love to be creative and I will continue to be, because I don't know how to stop....telling stories is all I have ever dreamed of doing......
